Gender Fashion
Fashion Binary This child points out the huge difference between the way girls and boys are treated and seen in society today. Girls are encouraged to look pretty, beautiful, fabulous etc. And boys are adventurous and can have super hero logos on their t-shirts. Isn't it time to step out of this very narrow way of looking at gender? There are a lot more than two ways of being - why are we limiting our kids to "adventurous" and "cute"? Why is still everything pink and blue?
